- Sweet potatoes
- Cinnamon applesauce
- Parsley
¨ Preheat oven to 250 degrees and place foil on baking sheet. Slice the sweet potatoes into thin slices, keeping the skin on the sweet potatoes (great for the dogs!). Rub a thin layer of cinnamon applesauce on the outside of the sweet potato slices. Then sprinkle on some parsley and place the sweet potatoes on the foil-lined baking sheet. Bake in the oven on 250 degrees for 3 – 3 1/2 hours. Let the sweet potato chews cool before serving to dog. Refrigerate leftovers in a tight-sealed container up to 3 weeks or in the freezer up to 3 months. Healthy and delicious replacement for bones and cartilage treats!
